Am I eligible for this programme?

i. Residents who are from the ACGME-I programme are eligible. They must have passed either MRCP or PGME(S), and have successfully completed their Basic Internal Medicine residency programme.

ii. Residents with equivalent training (approved by RAC), successful MRCP, PGMEs or ABIM examination. He/She must have completed at least 2 years of recognised Basic Specialist Training programme in Internal Medicine (substantiated by a logbook of cases and good performance reports endorsed by the supervisors and Heads of Departments. Overseas clinical training/postings can be recognised as equivalent under certain circumstances).

  • Our residency positions are only eligible for those who are registered and employed to practise in Singapore. For the list of the degrees and qualifications that are recognised by the Singapore Medical Council and registrable to work in Singapore, please refer to its website.

Applicants with:
i. Previous Infectious Diseases posting
ii. Good reports from supervisors
iii. Previous contact with research
iv. Grades achieved during undergraduate studies
v. Strong motivation, conscientious and committed
vi. Good communication skills, team work, adaptability
