​Am I eligible for the programme and how do I apply?

In order to be eligible for the Renal Medicine Residency Programme, the candidate must have:

  • Obtained a recognised postgraduate medical degree, e.g. MMed. (Internal Medicine) or its equivalent
  • Passed the local clinical examination and/or ABIM(S) examination
  • Obtained PD certification of successfully completing a recognised Internal Medicine Residency Programme of at least 36 months.

Overseas Trainees / Non Trainees:
The application for residency programmes in Singapore is centrally administered by MOH Holdings, who manages medical manpower in Singapore. Before they are eligible to apply for residency programmes in Singapore, graduates from overseas institutions need to secure an offer of employment as a doctor from MOHH.
