Our programme allows for an integration of learning experiences across both Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, ensuring that the resident is exposed to a wide range of acute and elective orthopaedic patients. Both inpatient and outpatient experience as well as operative and non-operative management methods of treatment aim to provide a holistic learning experience. Each resident is closely mentored by both a senior resident and a consultant to monitor his/her progress and provide guidance through his/her six years. They help to ensure that the resident's individual goals, progress milestones, and targets are achieved.

Protected time for regular didactic & common curriculum for all residents· Presentation of papers at Singapore Orthopaedic Association meetings.
Weekly Singapore Orthopaedic Association teaching sessions.
Attendance at training events, hands-on workshops, cadaveric courses and biomechanics courses at Nanyang Technological University.
Compulsory courses including AO Basic course, Advanced Trauma and Life Support, Core Resuscitative Skills training, Microsurgical skills and arthroscopy courses
