We will be welcoming our AY2020 intake on 4 July 2020, 3-4.30pm via Zoom.
This virtual welcome is hosted by the Resident Council Executive Committee, and will be facilitated by our Chief Residents and faculty members.
Each year, we hold a community engagement day for new residents where we try to give them exposure to underserved populations to learn about healthcare disparities, social determinants of health, and to help us see the patients we serve as whole people in their own communities. This year, as we are unable to go out into the community, we are glad to have Ms Nichol Ng (founder of Foodbank Singapore) to give a talk on the work that Foodbank does, how food insecurity still exists in Singapore and the crucial role they play to provide food to vulnerable communities especially during these uncertain times.
