Introduction
The NHG Endocrinology Residency Programme is a rigorous three-year course that aims to grow senior residents into well-rounded specialists with equal passions for patient care, research, teaching, and quality improvement.
Guided by an enthusiastic faculty across diverse training sites, senior residents will be exposed to the full breadth and depth of endocrinology, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and continuity of patient care.
Senior residents with interests in research, teaching and quality will be given the opportunity to be mentored by faculty with the same interests. In particular, senior residents keen on research will be encouraged to take up the NHG-LKCMedicine Clinician Scientist Preparatory Programme to advance their capabilities in this area, with research proposals guided by experienced mentors.
Our goal is to develop highly competent endocrinologists and systems-based thinkers who will contribute richly to Singapore's ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
