Curriculum
NHG offers training programmes in the surgical specialties of Hand Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Urology. Applicants undergo selection interviews to gain acceptance into the various surgical specialty programmes. They undergo a 2-year common trunk SIG (Surgery-in-General) programme before proceeding on to a further 4-year period of specialty training in their respective chosen specialties. Our programme director works closely with the SIG Residency Advisory Committee (RAC) and the surgical specialty programme directors to tailor training rotations to meet their specific needs.
